the repaired laptop is back from system76. they even threw in a free upgrade to integrated bluetooth! Tom emailed me several times during the repair process, letting me know the laptop arrived, confirming my address, providing a tracking number, etc. System76 has the best customer service of any company I’ve dealt with. And I’m thrilled to not have to tote around a usb bluetooth dongle anymore to be able to tether to my phone for internet access.
Best part is, the whole thing booted cleanly when I reinstalled my hard disk.
